2022 Top Sessions Include
Created in association with Onboard Hospitality, the 2022 Taste of Travel Theatre programme had a packed agenda with key themes including reducing waste, sustainability, ancillary revenue, inspiring the next generation, the future of special meals, and award ceremonies carried out by Onboard Hospitality and our very own Onboard Icons.
The world of onboard catering and services is constantly evolving. During the sessions, attendees discussed the accelerated trend towards pre-order and how technology and personalisation are driving this shift.
Boosting Ancillary Revenue
Uncovering ways in which airlines can improve the customer experience whilst increasing their ancillary revenue and cutting waste. Attendees looked at the supply chain, and the latest technologies available on the ground and onboard.
Passengers are changing and demanding new approaches. The sustainability tasks and preferences of inflight service are constantly evolving to meet the discerning needs of a global market. During sessions, attendees were invited to work collaboratively to solve the puzzle.
Inspiring the Next Generation
From discussions surrounding meat-free dining, zero waste, local sourcing, global collaboration, and the industry’s influential award ceremonies, attendees found leading voices to prepare them to see through the trends and drive revenue growth throughout your onboard services.
Why attendees return year-after-year
“The whole show is interesting, it isn't just the seminars or the exhibitors. It is educational and very professional so a very well-placed show.”
“I've attended several seminars at WTCE. As someone who is trying to get their product on board this is incredibly useful for me to see. The seminars also allow for good networking opportunities.”
“The sessions have been excellent and really informative. British Airways has a good reputation here and it's a great idea to bring the chefs to the show. I also thought Ariane's presentation was great - she is clearly in tune with the trends and provided useful insights on how important it is to make sure you consider and incorporate your audience.”
“From a supplier point of view, the seminars are very useful as they provide insight into the thought process behind the food preparation which is vital for us. ”
