Who typically visits WTCE?

WTCE is the one place where the whole onboard services industry comes together to meet and conduct business. With thousands of industry professionals including over 900+ airline, travel catering and rail buyers attending.

WTCE has a strict admissions policy and is open only to those involved in the onboard industry.

Is there a VIP Programme for buyers?

Yes. If you are a buyer for an airline, travel catering, rail or cruise company you may be eligible for a VIP badge.

Why should I attend the show?

When is the Passenger Experience Conference?

The next edition of the Passenger Experience Conference will take place on Monday 13th April 2026.

Is there a VIP Lounge?

Yes, for VIP badge holders, there is VIP Lounge, located in Hall A4.  The Lounge offers lunch, beverages and snacks, charging stations and plenty of space to hold meetings, relax or take a break.

Does WTCE offer any dedicated conference sessions?

Yes, in Hall A1 the Taste of Travel Theatre offers a series of topical panel debates, chef demos and expert seminars throughout the three days of the event.

It is free to attend on a first come, first served basis.

Is there an opening party?

Yes, on the evening before the show opens there is an official Welcome Party which is open to all exhibitors and attendees of WTCE. The party includes amazing industry networking opportunities, combined with an evening of entertainment, drinks and canapes.

How can I register to attend WTCE?

How much does it cost to attend?

There are a number of different ticket types. Find out more and select the relevant option by viewing our Tickets and Pricing page.

Who is eligible for a VIP badge?

Onboard buyers for airlines, travel catering, rail and cruise companies are eligible for an upgraded VIP badge. Register with your relevant company activity and your badge will be upgraded accordingly. You will be notified when you VIP badge has been confirmed. 

I haven’t received my badge, or my details are incorrect.

I am now unable to attend the event, how do I cancel my registration?

What does my badge give me access to?

Your badge provides you free access to:

  • World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo (WTCE)
  • Within this, features including the Taste of Travel Theatre, WTCE Connect networking tool, and for VIPs, the VIP programme.
  • Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) which is taking place in the B Halls of Hamburg Messe.
  • You can also upgrade your badge to attend Passenger Experience Conference and the Welcome Party.

Is there an event App?

Yes, WTCE offers an app containing an interactive floorplan, exhibitor directory, attendee directory, Taste of Travel programme, and access to WTCE Connect along with other useful information.

Are there any networking tools?

Yes! Register as a Visitor or VIP and you will get access to WTCE Connect. Once you are registered as a visitor, you can

  • Search the exhibitor list and find companies specific to your requirements
  • Search the product directory and discover innovations you’d like to see in person
  • Book meetings with exhibitors and other attendees in advance and plan your event diary
  • Receive a personalised meeting schedule with names, photos and details of attendees
  • Plus more!

Do you have a safety and security policy?

The safety and security of our staff and attendees is our priority. We work closely with the venue, local and national authorities to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events.

  • Everyone attending our events should be aware that the following are in place:
  • Customer Service staff may approach you to assist you outside, at entry or inside the event
  • Staff and attendees are required to wear ID badges provided
  • Bag checks are in operation at our events
  • Walkthrough or hand held scanners may be in operation at our events
  • CCTV in operation at our events is monitored and recorded

Uniformed and covert Security Guards are in attendance at our events

Uniformed and covert Police are in attendance at some of our events

Canine Security and Detection is in operation at some of our events

Everyone attending our events is requested to:

  • Keep personal property with you at all times and do not leave any items unattended
  • Report anything that looks unusual, suspicious or just out of place to a member of event staff
  • Remain patient and courteous with event staff undertaking security checks
  • Follow the instructions of event staff at all times
  • On their final visit to the event, dispose of their badge inside the event or when they’ve returned home, not in bins immediately outside the event
  • Carry a recognised form of photo ID with them at all times

AIX and WTCE are committed to ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience for all attendees at Hamburg Messe. The venue offers step-free access to all exhibition halls, conference rooms, and public areas, with elevators and ramps conveniently located throughout the site, including lift access via Halls B1, B3, and the East Foyer. Accessible toilets are available in Halls A1–A4 and B1–B7 (both ground and upper levels).

Designated disabled parking spaces are provided near the venue entrances at Gates A3 (Lagerstraße) and B1 and B4 (St. Petersburger Straße).

Are there any other events taking place?

Where can I find the Exhibitor Manual?

The Exhibitor Manual will be available in the Exhibitor Portal.

Can my sharers access the exhibitor portal?

Once you have registered your sharers in the Exhibitor Portal they will each receive a link to login to the portal and access their own profile/directory listing. The login link will be sent to the email address you have associated with their details when you registered them.

How do I find out how much I’ve paid and how?

Where is my stand?

Please refer to your contract for the stand number/ID. If you have any further questions regarding your location we suggest you reach out to your sales contact who will be able to offer guidance.

What is included with my stand?

Please refer to your contract for the details of what type of booking you have made. If you are unsure what this information indicates, please speak with your sales contact so they can confirm what is included. If you need any help with your stand design please take a look at our Smartspace opportunities.

Where can I order items for my stand e.g electricity, furniture, catering etc.?

All of the official suppliers and order forms will be available in the Exhibitor Manual.

Where can I send deliveries?

How do I contact the team?

How can I use WTCE Connect to book meetings?

Once each exhibitor stand personnel has registered for their badge, they will be sent login details for WTCE Connect where they can populate their profile, browse buyers and request meetings.

How can I register exhibitor badges?

To register badges for exhibitors, please follow our simple guide linked below. There are 3 easy ways, from an invite link, single badge, or a bulk upload for multiple badges at once. Click here to get started.

The number of Exhibitor badges allocated are dependant on the size of your booth. For any queries, please contact Customer Services.

If other company employees not working on the booth would like to attend, how can they register?

Employees of all WTCE exhibiting companies can attend for free. Simply inform company employees to register using the same email domain as the registered exhibitor company and the registration fee will be automatically waived.

How can I add a ticket to Passenger Experience Conference?

Once you have registered for your exhibitor badge, can you upgrade your badge to an ‘Exhibitor Delegate’ and access Passenger Experience Conference taking place the day before WTCE.

Can I access AIX with my WTCE Event badge?

Do I need to print my badge?

You can either print your PDF exhibitor badge at home or office, or bring your badge barcode to the event to print your badge in the WTCE registration area the day before the event opens. 

I am onsite and need to speak to someone about my stand, where do I go?

Our Operations team will be onsite to support you via our Organisers Office, along with all official contractors whose details are listed in the exhibitor manual. 

Where is the organisers office?

The WTCE Organiser’s office is located in Central Entrance Upper, adjacent to the Skywalk connecting WTCE with Aircraft Interiors Expo.

Where should exhibitors access the halls?

Exhibitor access can be found via Gate A3 before the show opens at 9am. Once the show is open you can access via the main entrance – Central Entrance of the Hamburg Messe. 

What are the build-up and breakdown times?

Who can I contact for support with the Lead Manager App and Colleqt?

For in-person visit the support team on the Sales Lounge on stand 4B10.

Is there a show app?

Yes, there is a join AIX and WTCE show app you can use to navigate and plan your event.

Can I provide press materials to the visiting media?

Yes, you email the PR Team at [email protected] or visit the team at the show at the Press Hub on stand 1G105. 

Where can I book discounted accommodation?

I need a letter of invitation for my visa application, what should I do?

For further information on the visa application process please visit the Hamburg Messe website.

If you do require a visa invitation letter, these will be available to request and download from the Exhibitor Portal once you have registered for your Exhibitor Badge. 

Is parking available at the venue.

Are there cash machines?

There is an ATM/Cash Machine located at the Central Entrance (WTCE) only.

Are any cloakrooms available?

Cloakroom facilities are available in the North, East, and South Entrances. There is a charge of €3.50 per coat and €5.50 per suitcase. Both cash and card payments are accepted.

What food and drink facilities are available?

Snack bars serving light refreshments are located in each hall and there is a restaurant in Hall A4.

Is there any disabled access?

The Expo is located on the ground floor however to reach the ground floor you may need to utlise the escalator or lift if you are unable to use the stairs. Access to upper levels and to visit Aircraft Interiors Expo is possible via lifts or escalators. For assistance, please contact a member of the team located at the Central Entrance.
