Keeping you safe

Last updated: May 10, 2022

Your safety and your business are our priorities. At WTCE, both are in safe hands.

At WTCE, we are all about connecting people, so the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff are of the utmost priority. Our team is working closely with local authorities, partners, and venues to implement robust safety measures, which means our event may look slightly different this year. We will continue to update you on this page and our communications with the specifics as we approach the show.

We will continue to review and update the regulations according to the latest guidance. Please check back regularly for updates.

Stay Safe Guidelines

Essential information for visitors who will be present at the event on event open days. Learn about our increased hygiene measures and medical safeguarding. Event health and precautionary safety guidelines are subject to change as directed by the local authorities.

Before

Inbound Travel Advice

Please ensure you have taken the time to read all of the latest travel guidance before travelling to the event. You can find these here.

Registration

Please make sure you register in advance. It will not be possible to register onsite in the registration area this year, but you can register on your mobile device throughout the event open days for 50 euros.

Plan ahead

Plan your visit before you arrive at the venue. Knowing what you will do and where to go will contribute to safe and productive attendance. We also recommend that you plan how to get to and from the venue by checking any relevant travel advice or restrictions.

Stay home if you feel unwell

Please ensure that you are in good health, with no symptoms related to COVID-19. You must also not attend if you have had contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, even with a negative test result of your own.

On Arrival

Badging

This year you will be sent a barcode in order to collect your Smart Badge. Please ensure you have the barcode ready on your device or printed to enter the event quickly and safely. We will provide you with a lanyard upon arrival.

During

Inside our event, we make meeting and doing business as safe as possible for everyone.

Face masks

Although it is no longer a legal obligation, we recommend everyone onsite wears face masks, except those who are exempt. They should be worn at all times and in all areas of the show.

Be Kind

Please be mindful of individuals' personal space; everyone will have their own comfort levels as we return to events. Please give people space when walking past them and check before initiating personal contact (consider elbow bumps rather than handshakes or hugs).

Hygiene

Hand sanitisers will be readily available throughout the venue. Please continue to follow guidance and wash your hands frequently.

Ventilation

We will increase ventilation to improve fresh air circulation in line with the latest guidance.

Cleaning

We will maintain the highest cleaning standards before, during and after the event, including frequent cleaning of all high touchpoints.

Food and beverage

All catering facilities will be open but in line with the latest government guidance. Cashless payments are encouraged.
