Terms and Conditions
This Event Competition (referred to in these terms and conditions as Event Competition) is offered to you by Reed Exhibitions Limited. Our principal place of business is at Gateway House, 28 The Quadrant, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1DN, UK. Reed Exhibitions Limited is the company that in these Terms and Conditions is also known as “we” or “us”.
We are the organisers of the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) to be held on 14th to 16th June 2022 at Hamburg Messe and the owners and controllers of the website worldtravelcateringexpo.com (referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “the Event Website”).

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Event Competition. You will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them upon entering the Event Competition. If you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions, you may be excluded from access to the Event Competition.
You must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry in order to participate in the Event Competition and you must be a first time visitor to the Event in order to enter the Event Competition.
Entry into the Event Competition is free, but is restricted via Internet entry only. You must visit the Event Website at https://www.worldtravelcateringexpo.com/en-gb/lp/vip-competition.html (the “Entry Site”) and complete and submit the entry form online (the “Entry Form”) , which Entry Form will ask for your details including your name, job title, company, name and address, age, and email address.
Unfortunately:
(a) employees of Reed Exhibitions Limited and any associated company of Reed Exhibitions Limited; and/or
(b) any person directly or indirectly involved in the running of the Event Competition; and/or
(c) any previous visitor to WTCE Events
are excluded from entering the Event Competition and their entries will not be considered.
All qualifying entrants who complete and submit the Entry Form via the Entry Site will be entered into the Event Competition to win, free of charge, one night’s stay in a hotel in Hamburg for the Event, a conference pass & exhibition VIP pass to the Event and a ticket to the Event’s networking party (“the Prize”).
Prize Draw Guidelines
You must ensure that the email address you provide when submitting the Entry Form is a valid one and is accurate. If the email address supplied is invalid for any reason whatsoever, we reserve the right to withdraw the entrant from the Event Competition. Our decision in this regard is final.
You will only be entitled to submit one Entry Form for the Event Competition.
All completed Entry Forms for the Event Competition must be received by us between 09:00 hours GMT on Thursday 20th January 2022 and 17:00 hours BST on Friday 15th April 2022. Any Entry Forms received before or after this time period will not be accepted.
We may, at our discretion, change the dates of entry into the Event Competition. We also reserve the right to alter, amend, suspend or withdraw these Terms and Conditions and/or the Event Competition without prior notice. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be indicated on the Entry Site and it is your responsibility to check for any such changes.
Prize Details
The Prize is a VIP Visit to WTCE 2022 in Hamburg. This includes one hotel night in Hamburg for the Event, a conference pass & exhibition VIP pass to the Event and a ticket to the networking party at the Event.
Flight tickets are not included.
The Winner of the Event Competition is not entitled to a cash alternative to the Prize and such Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Entry is via the Entry Form only via the Entry Site only at https://www.worldtravelcateringexpo.com/en-gb/lp/vip-competition.html and is free of charge. No purchase is necessary.
The winner (“the Winner”) will be notified via email before 17:00 hours BST on Wednesday 20th April 2022 at the email address supplied on the Entry Form. The Winner will be selected at random from the Event Competition Entry Forms received by us via the Entry Site from all qualifying entrants.
We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and to check or validate your identity. If you have been asked for proof of your identity and/or your eligibility, your failure to provide such proof within a reasonable time could result in your disqualification from the Event Competition. All personal details and information you supply must be truthful and accurate.
We will only use your personal details to operate Event Competition to verify your identity and eligibility and to use the Winner’s name and photograph for promoting the Event.

We do not claim any rights of ownership in your Event Competition entry.
By submitting your Entry Form, you agree that we may (but are not required to) make your entry available on the Event Website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Event Competition.
You agree to grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Event Competition, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Event Competition for such purposes.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any liability, which cannot be limited or excluded by the law. These Terms and Conditions also do not affect the rights that are granted to you as a consumer by law. Otherwise, we will not be liable to you for any matter relating to the Event Competition.
We will also not be liable to you if you suffer loss or inconvenience because of the failures of persons or systems that we do not directly control – for example, mobile phone network operators, internet service providers, postal services, software providers and telephone traffic handlers.
These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We reserve the right to change them and update them from time to time but, if we do so, we will post the changes on the Event Website.
The Event Competition is run and organised by us strictly in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and all other applicable laws relating to data protection, anti-bribery and compliance that are applicable in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States of America and elsewhere in the world.
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to these Terms and Conditions, the validity and performance hereof or their formation, including any non-contractual disputes or claims, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties hereby irrevocably acknowledge and agree that the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect hereof.
