Jo and Sue have been working together in the travel and hospitality publishing industries all their working in lives. Jo is the better speller and Sue is the better seller, so the sister partnership has worked well, - so well that they have often been confused at Shows which has proved very useful at times!
Their first 'taste' of the onboard industry was when they worked alongside Mary Gostelow and Willie Seeman - two truly iconic figures –attending conventions around the world and publishing articles for IFCA and ITCA under the auspices of BMI Publishing. They changed the name of the magazine from Inflight Hospitality to Onboard Hospitality in 2005 and the magazine is now in its 17th year. Over these years they have watched and encouraged two-man bands and husband and wife partnerships launch their single products to the onboard industry and seen many of them flourish to become major players. Many of these have become close friends and they are lucky enough to have visited several of them in their home countries around the world.
Says Jo: "It is an honour to work amongst such proud, hard-working and enterprising individuals with a common goal to make things better in the world. This industry is not about work - it is a way of life."
