Passenger Experience Week and AIX Los Angeles announces new PR agency

Storm to handle all PR and social media activity for the passenger experience industry’s leading exhibitions and conference

26 September 2018 – Reed Exhibitions – organiser of the Passenger Experience portfolio of events for the airline, rail and cruise industries – has appointed Storm to manage the PR activity for Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE), Passenger Technology Solutions (PTS) and Passenger Experience Conference (PEC), all of which take place in Hamburg next April, as well as Aircraft Interiors Expo Los Angeles (AIX LA) that takes place in California next September.

The importance of passenger experience
With global passenger traffic expected to double by 2035 , several organisations, including the International Air Transport Association (IATA), are investigating ways of improving the door-to-door journey. Their research demonstrates a clear requirement for the air, rail and cruise industries to embrace digital transformation, automate processes, improve onboard facilities and deliver a superior, hassle-free experience to their customers.

As a result, Passenger Experience Week’s co-located events have never been more strategically important. Together, AIX, WTCE, PTS and PEC will provide a platform that enables those responsible for cabin design, in-flight entertainment, connectivity, technology, passenger comfort, travel catering and onboard retail to deliver on the demands of the 21st century passenger. And with AIX LA six months later, these events cannot be missed.

More than just one event
Storm will assume responsibility for communicating the benefits of attending each unique event, with a particular focus on promoting how passenger experience professionals can gain value from attending all events.

In addition to highlighting the sourcing and educational opportunities available at the renowned PEC, AIX – entering its 20th year – and WTCE events, the agency has been tasked with bringing together the entire passenger experience calendar of events and raising awareness of the second edition of PTS.

With technology at the heart of creating a seamless passenger experience, the show will play a pivotal role in helping agents, terminal operators, airlines, rail companies and cruise lines identify new solutions that can provide better data analytics, automate their processes and deliver an enhanced, personalised journey from the moment a booking is made.
